Two tracks, one method.

Every program starts with an assessment of how you move. What we build after that depends on what we find, so no two American Ascension programs look the same.

01Where it starts

The movement assessment

Before we write a program, we look at how your body moves and where it doesn’t. Template programs skip this step, which is why nagging injuries go unaddressed and plateaus never break.

A

Movement patterns

How you squat, hinge, brace, push, pull, land and change direction, and which of those patterns your body is compensating around.

B

Imbalances & limitations

Differences between your left and right sides, restricted range of motion, and the performance-limiting factors generic programs never look for.

C

History & goal

Past injuries, how long you have been training, your sport and season, and what you want from all of it. That might be a personal record. It might be getting through the day without pain.

D

Strengths to build on

The assessment is not only about finding faults. What you already do well shapes the program as much as what needs work.

02For athletes

Sports Performance

For competitive athletes in high school, college, sub-elite, elite and team settings who are serious about their performance and know generic training will not get them there.

01

Strength & conditioning

Strength built for your sport and your position, programmed around the movement patterns your assessment showed you own.

02

Speed & agility development

Acceleration, top-end speed and change of direction, coached as skills with proper technique instead of treated as conditioning.

03

Injury prevention

We find the imbalances and restrictions that put a season at risk, then train directly against them before they cost you time.

04

Post-injury return to play

A staged return that rebuilds strength and confidence before you are back in competition.

05

Mobility & range-of-motion restoration

Getting back the range your sport demands, so your technique is not held back by what your joints can’t do yet.

06

Muscle gain & maintenance

Building muscle and holding it through the season, in the amount your sport can use.

07

Individualized movement assessment

Where everything above starts, and what makes the rest of it yours.

03For everyday health

Health & Exercise

You don’t have to compete to train seriously. This track is for people managing pain from an old injury, stuck on a plateau, or building habits they want to keep for decades.

01

Strength for everyday health

Getting stronger for what daily life asks of you: stairs, luggage, kids, and staying independent as you get older.

02

Rehabilitation programming

Structured recovery work for non-athletes coming back from injury, built around what your assessment found.

03

Mobility for daily function

Restoring range of motion you have lost, so ordinary movement stops being something you work around.

04

Muscle gain & maintenance

Building muscle and keeping it as you age, for strength you can count on long term.

05

Pain & imbalance assessment

A movement assessment focused on pain, imbalance and limitation, to find the cause instead of working around the symptom.

04For programs

Teams & Clubs

Team training usually means one plan for thirty different bodies. We assess every athlete on the roster and build from there, so the athlete coming back from injury and the athlete chasing a conference title get different work.

What team support includes

  • An individual movement assessment for every athlete on the roster
  • In-season and off-season training blocks planned around your competition calendar
  • Injury-risk screening, and return-to-play support when an athlete needs it
  • Coaching on-site at your facility
